Senior Sales Manager

 

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and achieving budget targets, while strategically developing key accounts across all categories worldwide (excluding North America).

During Sales Campaign

  • Define seasonal and annual account plans across all categories 
  • Prepare relevant documents for strategy meetings, presenting to retailers when required
  • Work with Global Sales Director to prepare and review wholesale targets for all designated accounts
  • Build strong assortments of key styles and volume drivers with buyers 
  • Negotiate trade terms and in-store presence
  • Establish and monitor budget investment and trading terms and conditions
  • Work with Merchandising and Production teams on cancellations
  • Post season analysis/feedback
  • Review orders during sales period to assess commercial viability
  • Define the next season's development strategy

In Season

  • Manage any new POS openings in a timely manner
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of existing customer base, maintaining clear, professional communication at all times
  • Analyse sales at retail level and take action where necessary to improve sales
  • Ensure store teams receive satisfactory training 
  • Manage wholesale event planning with PR and Marketing
  • Define and implement retailers' specific strategy and trade marketing plan with Marketing team
  • Responsible for payment terms, following up on issues when necessary
  • Visit existing accounts whilst proactively identifying areas for expansion
  • Review and report sell-in and sell-through
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all retail teams in key stores
  • Drive cross-functional interaction between retailers and the VB team
  • Work with Finance to ensure underpayments are clearer monthly and on time

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience gained in a similar luxury fashion role
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients 
  • Proactive, with excellent negotiation skills
  • Sound knowledge of the luxury fashion market
  • Sales forecasting skills and retail mathematical knowledge
  • Ability to gather data and create reports 
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office package
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
